Jamaica FAM TRIP 2019

Firstly I need to send a huge shout out and thank you to the Jamaica Tourist Board and West Jet for sponsoring the FAM (Familiarization) Trip for us Canadian Agents June 1-7, 2019, and a HUGE THANK YOU to our tour guide Kurt for all the wonderful information and knowledge about Jamaica, the history, the properties and for showing us a great time.

Jamaica is one of my favorite Islands by -far with the wonderful people, lush lands full with amazing beaches, fantastic mountains, delicious food, beautiful properties, and fantastic weather!!

Yes we were there in June, and it is the rainy season. We did experience a little rain, but after walking through all the different properties the rain was a welcoming treat at some points. Liquid Sunshine is not always a bad thing :)

This was my very first FAM trip and I couldn't have been chosen for a better one. The ONE LOVE Island is amazing. My favorite thing - The JERK CHICKEN!!! OMG! I am still talking about it and when I do my mouth is still watering. SO DELICIOUS.

When you go on vacation do you stay on the resort, or do you go out an explore the different excursions? I like to explore, and boy did our group explore the island.

We got to see and explore the Green Grotto Caves, The Rose Hall Ghost Tour and climb Dunn's River Falls!

The Highlight of the excursions for me personally, was climbing Dunn's River Falls. It was absolutely fantastic and refreshing on such a hot day. Don't forget to bring your water shoes!! Dunn's River also has a beach tou can enjoy and a splash pad for the little kids to enjoy. Not to mention ziplining! Next time I am in Jamaica, you can bet I will be back to Dunn's River to try that out. You can easily spend the entire day here and make some unforgettable memories with your family and friends.

Did I mention that climbing the falls is also a great team building activity should you happen to need some new ideas for your team ;).

In future posts I am going to review the different resorts we visited because there is just too much to say about each place now.
